Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using TestPrepKids ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What We Provide

TestPrepKids provides original CogAT-style practice questions and explanations to help children prepare for cognitive ability assessments used in gifted program admissions. We are an independent educational practice platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the publishers of the CogAT (Riverside Assessments) or any school district.

3. Accounts

Accounts must be created by a parent or guardian (18+). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@testprepkids.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• The free tier provides access to 10 questions per battery. No credit card required.
• The paid plan is $19/month, billed monthly via Stripe. No long-term commitment.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access through that date.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused access, except where required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

All questions, explanations, and content on TestPrepKids are original works created by us. They are protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Personal, non-commercial use for test preparation is permitted. Sharing content with tutoring services, publishing it online, or using it commercially is not permitted.

6. No Guarantee of Results

Practice does not guarantee admission to any gifted program. CogAT scores depend on many factors. We make no representations about outcomes. Our service is an educational practice tool, not a guarantee of test performance.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use automated tools to scrape or download our question bank
• Share account credentials with others outside your household
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute our content
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content is free from inaccuracies. Use at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TestPrepKids shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
